About Us
Passionate Fundraising Expertise
About Sophie:
Sophie started here, as the daughter of first-generation Americans.
Working within and outside of higher education as a higher education professional, fundraiser, university and independent instructor, and consultant she has developed expertise in:
- Corporate and foundation relations,
- Capital campaigns,
- Major and planned giving,
- Change leadership and
- Building, rebuilding, or taking programs and teams and organizations to the next level.
Sophie has led one-person shops and teams ranging in size from five to 12. She has
- Led or consulted for fundraising campaigns ranging from $500k - $80M for nonprofits large and small.
- Co-created two online certificate programs in fundraising for Penn State's World Campus and
- Developed and taught two of the core courses and delivered countless webinars and training sessions.
- Co-edited/authored two books about fundraising.
- Founded i5 Fundraising, a consulting firm enabling nonprofits and nonprofit leaders to achieve bold visions through fundraising.
Sophie’s superpowers include being a Rainmaker/Go-Getter (Asking Style), Equalizer/Influencer/Activator. (Standout 2.0), along with hearing and understanding the needs of clients and developing a plan specifically designed to enable you to achieve your goals.
